1 year in the forum
« on: March 30, 2014, 07:49:45 PM »
Good day guys,

I will be my first anniversary of joining mwf in April.
I have started several threads asking for opinions and I realised that I have yet to post the end result.
Here are some threads I started asking for opinions, thanks everyone for the feedback and may I present to you some of the end results (in chronological order)
 :)

Modern Watches / Re: Suggestions for diver watch (RM3-7k)
Modern Watches / Re: Titanium watch below 5k
Modern Watches / Re: Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue - what's your take?
Modern Watches / Re: Rolex sea dweller 16600 vs submariner
Modern Watches / Re: Suggestion for white dial sport watch

Modern Watches / Re: Suggestions for diver watch (RM3-7k)
- I got myself a Ball Skindiver and later sold it for a LLD. Thanks forum members for suggesting both watches in the thread

Modern Watches / Re: Titanium watch below 5k
- I asked for suggestion for a friend, who is slow in deciding.
- It took him many months and now he is relooking for a titanium watch (after bonus payment)

Modern Watches / Re: Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue - what's your take?
- Somehow, I lost interest completely

Modern Watches / Re: Rolex sea dweller 16600 vs submariner
- I ended up with a GMT Master II

Modern Watches / Re: Suggestion for white dial sport watch
- Now working hard to save up for this (picture taken in an AD)

Three other acquisitions

 :)
2013 had been a busy and good year. Now working hard to ensure a fruitful 2014.

Hi mikster, the watch is called The Bradley done by Eone, a kickstarter project.
I have shared some pictures on mwf under this thread

Re the Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue, I looked at them a few times in the AD but once I saw it on a bracelet I realised that only the blue strap made it interesting and the watch itself  is quite bland. Also one example seemed more violet than blue around the edges. As hard as I tried to like it, in the end it validated the advice to think it over if the first impression doesn't match the advertising.

BTW I'd have a Ball Skindiver tomorrow if it didn't have the day and date clutter.
