Recommendation of 10k budget small sized swiss watch
« on: September 07, 2019, 11:00:31 AM »
Hi guys, i bought a BR123 Heritage years ago and now i'm looking for a better upgrade. However having a thin wrist is really a headache as most great looking timepiece (to me) has big case size D; i'm having a budget of 10k (maybe can top up abit if i found my love :P ), looking for a maximum of 42 or 41mm, dress/chronograph, not a fan of divers but is considerable  ;D pre-owned is fine to me too!

Here a few dress watch brands and model you can look at within your budget:

1. Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 5 Day-Date 41mm - Ref no WAR201 - comes in blue, white and black dials.
2. Tudor Style 41mm - Ref no 12710 - comes in various colour dials.
3. Longines Conquest Heritage 40mm - Ref no L1.645.4.75.4 - in white dials.
4. Montblanc 4810 Dual Time 42mm - Ref no 114857 - in white dials / Ref no 114858 is black dial with chronograph
5. Tag Heuer Carrera Calibre 16 Chronograph 41mm - Ref no CV201AR.BA0715 with blue dial
6. Oris Divers Sixty-Five 40mm
7. Breitling Transocean Day & Date 43mm

Hope this helps!

We have the same problem mate, small wrist gang.

1. BlackBay 41 , they got the 36mm or 41 mm. Simple and good looking watch. Used market around 8k.

2. Oris diver 65 at 41mm , short lug to lug, have that vintage vibe and the best part is, you can get it under 5k. Bang per buck.

3. The iconic Speedmaster reduce at 39mm, nothing say about it, cuz it's speedy. Used market under 8k.

4. Sinn 104. The German Pilot watch at 41mm , very rebust watch. Brand new slightly under 6k.

5. Another Oris, big crown day date pointer at 40mm. The last independent watch brand. The day date is a very use fully featured and it is cool looking watch, especially the green dial and bronze case. Brand new you can grab it under 8k.

This is the only top 5 I can think off right know. There is hell a lot more, you can grab under 10k with a small case size.

Cheers mate.

Like the carrera calibre 16 chronograph and speedmaster reduced!
Thanks on the recommendation guys!
I'm quite a fan of IWC, while now actually looking at the pilot's chronograph, a used one is abit overbudget but hopefully i can make up for it, and another problem will be the 43mm case which hopefully suits my wrist  :P

TAG Heuer Carrera calibre 16 CV2014 will fit your wrist. It is 41mm. For the IWC why don't you try the IWC Mark xviii. The diameter is 40mm but with the long lug. With small wrist, you need also consider the lug to lug length.

Been looking for something really similar along your budget and came across the MontBlanc Chronométrie and the Ultraslim recently.

The Ultraslim has been discontinued but you can still find 3rd party sellers selling it new online. At 38mm diameter and 5.8mm height it is super impressive for a dress watch at this price range. It uses a Peseux 7001 movement so something to consider there I guess
