Rolex is really killing my enthusiasm for their watches with their "choking the market" policy. Only winners are the grey market guys. I have nothing against them but this action will have repercussions down the line. As for me I have sworn off Rolexes and would rather spend money on Tudor.

I too am tired of this waiting game.

But in the spirit of predictions...

1) BLNR receives movement update (116710 --> 126710)
2) Update on an Explorer model?
3) Update to Datejust model?

What won't change?
- "No stock"
- "Buy gold, get to buy steel"
- "5 year waiting list"

Best ‘release’ would be abundant of sport models stock ‘released’ and available to the market. Of course one can only hope...

I don't mind buying preowned Rolex. So I am pretty fine with Rolex as long as the right model pops out in preown market, I will grab them.     :)

Yup, this year Tudor kinda made a homage to this Seiko. They call it the P01. Kinda.

Except the Seiko is rather Retro Chic and kinda nice. The Tudor I struggle to make sense of.

Both Rolex and Tudor taking a breather this year with a subdued Basel reveal. I don't quite like jubilee for sports model, just makes the watch busy and a two tone SD really milks for additional profits. What next? Two tone Explorers? Full gold sports mode across the professional ranges? This is just nuts and still no word on how they intend to resolve the restrictions in supply. Bottom line for me is no Rolexes unless at MSRP. :(
