Title: Sternglas
Post by: Walllee18 on February 23, 2020, 11:24:22 AM
Hi,

Has anyone here heard of Sternglas before? If yes, do you own one and how's the quality? It's a German startup microbrand founded few years back in 2016. Their watches are heavily inspired by Bauhaus design and look attractive to me.

Hi There,

I have a Sternglas Zirkel at 40mm which is too large for me. One thing with their watches that you have to take note is that they wear really large because of the really thin bezel.
Other than that the design is awesome to me and the Miyota movement that they use is a workhorse though as per most Miyota's, the rotor is a little noisy.
I actually really like the Milanese bracelet that came with it and have been using it on other watches as well.

Ya, I think it will be a bit large for my 6 inch wrist cos' I just found out the lug to lug measures about 48.5mm, which I think it's a bit long.

I think you can look at the Naos. It's 38mm and thinner as well so it should fit well.  :)
