Is it everyone send your watch back to the original watch maker to do maintenance? Is there anyone here that send to outside sifu to service the watch?
If there is good sifu, really hope that you can intro to me as i really would like to know them. if in Penang is the best.
Thank You

Is the watch still covered under warranty? If yes probably best to take them back to the authorised service center to prevent your warranty from being void.
Not really familiar with any watch repairer in Penang, will need help from other MWF kakis.

preferably send back and carry to the same watch manufacturer or retailler shop, ehy have the proper tools to open, fix and clean your watch, isntaed of other shop, you dont know what kind of tools they used and material apply on your watch for cleaning.

I think if the movement is generic eg ETA, you can send it outside. But if the movement is In-House, and pretty recent, better to send back to the authorized SC.

When sending back to original dealers do check the fineprint. Had to pay RM1.5k to refuse a service for my Bregeut. Urgh.
