Maybe not a benrus becos it look a bit larger. Enkidu..is that a gallet&co mil watch????

You've got sharp eyes, Harken. Yes, it's a Gallet. Guess nothing escapes your attention when it comes to vintage.  The one-piece case is stamped "Gallet & Cie, Swiss" on the inside. Likewise for the movement. The second hand has snapped at where it arcs downwards.

Wooooo.....that is a rare bird, bro. Please let me have a feel when we meet nexr time..

God bless.

More info please. Is the watch under the dtu 2a/p Mil-w-3818? GG-W-113? Or other mil spec? So Gallet the other maker of the watch during the time other then Benrus? I have only seen Gallet in the later Navigator case design .

Hi Chrisyen, thx for showing interest :D
I am not sure the material. It should be stainless steel, but it was changing colour overall the case.
Loooks like copper??! Low poss as i never heard of copper made case.
I upload another pic from other angle, u can see the casing colour changed in such a vintage look. Looks like a heat effect... how do u think?
But frankly i love the ugly case so much as it was part of the reason i want it so badly! haha ;D

Don't mind having a Rolex where you don't have to wind it up after lying idle for awhile.
Nice watch

TQ. Exactly, sometimes just tired of winding up and re-setting time for my automatic watches. Need one that's always ready to wear and go.

i dun think there are many of them, after all, Rolex only produced abt 25000pcs of them since the 70s, and thats for all various oyster quartz models and metals. but once in a while one or two pop up so i think its still not considered as rare...

all steel model like mine (17000) u shld be able to get below 10k, while half gold slightly more exp and whole gold above 10k i guess, though never really bother to check on any gold model prices coz IMO the all steel model looks the best!
