Hi, Meor, really nice.

I assume that dial is all original to the watch and not a replacement or refurbished?

Unfortunately, not the original. Based on the info gathered from the repair manual on this watch, in 1995, it was sent in to replace the acrylic (badly cracked) and the dial due to extreme degradation. Although the acrylic was easy to source and replace, the dial was difficult to get. Hence a post 1965 dial was chosen instead (that closely resembles the original) - in the original dial, at the bottom, instead of reading "T Swiss Made T" it would have read just "T Swiss T". Everything else is original.

Euclidorus,

That's a pristine looking 61GS with cross-hair dial. And it is rather unusual to find one with a vintage tropic strap attached to which.

Alas, I only have the more common 6146-8000 from early 1968.....

Happy New Year to All WIS!!!!

Enkidu, I like the pairing with the tropic strap for the overall vintage feel, yet not out of place in the modern environment. In fact, lends it a sporty tone. Your 6146-8000 looks in great condition too.
