Recommendation: Mondaine watches
« on: August 08, 2018, 12:31:30 PM »
Hi Sifu-sifus,

I'm choosing between these 2 Mondaine models:-

It's Automatic VS Stop2Go.

I love automatic watches but then Stop2Go has its unique feature.
Any thought? In dilemma now.

Hope all sifus can discuss about your thoughts here.

I had the Stop2Go and wrote about it in 2016 @ http://andywristwatches.blogspot.com/2016/09/mondaine-stop2go-swiss-railway-clock.html and http://andywristwatches.blogspot.com/2017/01/wts-mondaine-stop2go-rm1800-with-extra.html. The 58+2 seconds complication was quite the novelty, and it's the only such complication in the industry. So just grab it, have fun with it, and when it's time to flip it, I'm sure that there would be interested parties as these pieces are not easily available hereabout.

Rolex | Omega | Bell & Ross | Panerai | Seiko | G-Shock |

@D’Andy, yeap, I’m aware of coolness of Stop2go. But I’m always into mechanical watches. How I wish Stop2go was automatic instead of quartz.

Really in dilemma now, not sure which one to go for.

Stop2go seem good to me. Like the lollipop hand, look unique.
