I was told by some other members previously when the watch start losing accuracy after 1 week of use then it's a sign of time to service.

standard full service includes replacement of all gaskets, and mainspring, and also the reverser wheel in automatic watches, (standard practice for Rolex, Omega and others)

How much depends on the brand. Rolex Omega, prepare to pay $$$, for Seiko generally its ard 150 incl. shipping.

I was informed that if the turning sound become loud when u shake the watch (clock's wise 6 swing to 12), then is time to send for service to add oil..

So far i know the cheapest service cost for automatic movement are seiko, miyota, and swiss ETA (non complication).

last time i asked about servicing cost (& repair since it stopped working) of my Tissot PRS auto at a shop in Amcorp mall... was quoted almost RM800.. since the watch only cost about Rm2.5K to purchase many years ago..i decided to keep it..
and not repair..

i think the servicing of manual winding watches are cheaper
