Bas & Lokes Leather Nato Strap
« on: August 02, 2014, 10:34:37 AM »
So my Bas & Lokes finally arrived after 6 weeks of waiting time.  I've just recently gone into a leather strap phase and am not an expert so these are just my layman opinions of the strap.

Quality: Definitely many notches above what can be found in Malaysia generally.  The leather smells great and is extremely soft and comfortable.  The buckles look good but edges seem to be sharp and i've noticed it scratching the leather slightly when I put on the watch.

Durability: Not too sure as the leather is pretty soft, but I think it will last. Also, I think the leather will look better in time.

Design: Love the design. It's not a true Nato (i.e. one piece) and it allows my Explorer II to sit closer to the wrist. Also love the leather keeper instead of metal ones.  This particular colour really suits the white face Explorer II as it makes the watch pop.

Cost: Seems pretty good value to me at USD80.

Apologize for the crappy phone pics.
