Tissot Classic Dream problem
« on: September 19, 2018, 01:24:08 PM »
Hi all,
Bought this watch in April this year
Got it for a few weeks and noted that it stops irregularly
Didn't really see it stop, but noted the time slowed
the first time it stopped for about an hour overnight on the table
then for 2 hours when worn for 5 hours
Reset the watch, sent the watch back to Tissot in June, they kept it for two days, sent it back without doing anything saying nothing was wrong, the watch was 3 days slow when i got it back about 2 weeks later.(went through the vendor, no one adjusted the time)
Reset the watch, kept it on the table for a week, keeping good time, then it slowed down 7 minutes the following day.
Reset the watch, used it for 5 days, then it lost 1 hour overnight on the table
Reset the watch, sent it back to Tissot again in July, they kept it for a week, sent it back saying nothing was wrong.
Been keeping good time on and off the wrist until last week, lost 4 hours again.....
The vendor advised me not to open the caseback and to send it back to Tissot again because it is still under warranty
I've emailed Tissot but still no reply for 5 days
Anyone encountered problems with their quartz watch stopping irregularly?

My advice to you is to keep pestering Tissot / Swatch until they solve your watch problem. Don't wait for the email reply. Go straight to their service center and get the problem resolve.

Thanks man,
I was thinking of just buying the movement and swapping the problematic one out, but that will void the warranty. probably should just take your advice, keep sending the watch back to them until they solve the problem, Argh, thats gonna require alot of patience.

Precisely. They will try to wear you out and they shirk of their obligations.
