Finally, a 40mm!
Always love the design BUT it was too big.
This is definitely on my list

Still overlapping sub dials but way much better than EP reissue.

There's been lots of discussion on how biver intends to push the brand. Design wise there seems to be some sometimes of uniformity with some open work displayed thru dial but dates have been strictly 6'o clock, not a personal choice.

Personally not my favourite. The dial looks a bit cluttered but maybe it's because I love a simple well designed watch.

First read this - https://www.hodinkee.com/articles/jean-claude-biver-explains-zenith-takeover-exclusive-interview

The Zenith Defy 21 is Biver's baby... Who is Biver... Go google about him. A legend in the Switch Making industry.

Zenith Defy El Primero 21 – 44mm
New 1/100th of a second Chronograph movement
Exclusive dynamic signature of one rotation per second
1 escapement for the Watch (36,000 VpH - 5 Hz) ; 1 escapement for the Chronograph (360,000 VpH - 50Hz)

The watch below is the Ceramicised Aluminium Black version. It is mesmerizing.
