Title: Want to purchase watch online in Japan

Hi,

I want to purchase a watch online from Japan.
Anyone know there have any tax charge by customs when ship to Malaysia?
The courier service will be use is EMS.
Anyone have the experience buy watch online?

I bought a watch from The Watch Company via Chrono24. They shipped it via Fedex and declared the watch in the custom form as Precision Instrument. No tax was imposed.

If declared as watch then will have to pay for the tax?
The seller ship by using EMS

Unfortunately it will be taxed. EMS goes through poslaju hence directly to customs.

Do you know how many % will be tax?
I heard my friend said watch is non taxable item.

It's a sales tax i.e. SST = 5% (correct me if I am wrong)
