Nikon Interchangable Lens (ILC) Camera - coming soon
« on: September 15, 2011, 03:08:26 PM »
Read this from the net :
"Just last week, Japanese publication Nikkei reported that Nikon will be launching interchangeable lens cameras (ILCs) in the later part of the year.

This confirms earlier speculation that Nikon would be jumping onto the ILC bandwagon after a concept product was first spotted at the Nikon Sapporo showroom last year. It is said that Nikon's new mirrorless camera will retail for between US$900 and US$1,300.

A recent Bloomberg article has also stated that the popularity of mirrorless cameras has caused the combined market share of Canon and Nikon to fall by 35 percent in Japan, while Sony's share has doubled thanks to its mirrorless NEX-series cameras.

With Nikon already planning its first step into the market, we wonder if Canon will be next."

We all know Sony was succesful with its NEX series camera. Nikon is jumping in the "bandwagon". Will other camera manufacturer follows next?

Watchmanu,
Yes Nikon is coming up ILC like Sony NEX series.
For Malaysia, Sony NEX5 is the latest as the newer NEX7 has not come to our shore as yet.
