Many faces of the Planet Ocean
« on: August 04, 2013, 05:02:43 PM »
I have always loved the Planet Ocean. However, it was always overlooked every single time I am building my funds for one. It all started with the one that got away,

I was hooked. I always wanted the Liquidmetal LE ever since I saw it but I never had the chance to own one. Then the new Liquidmetal with the 8500 came out. I was very itchy at this point but then it was in titanium and I was not too keen on that. I shelved my plans and waited it out. Come Baselworld 2013, they announced the Planet Ocean GMT. I thought to myself," Ok. If ever I saw one, I might consider it". Well, the rest is history. I shall leave you all with pictures of the latest acquisition.

The blue changes in different lighting. Sometimes it looks dark blue whereas at times, it is as in the pictures. Glad I re-enter the realm of Omega once again.

Good choice of the leather look alike rubber strap - very comfortable indeed. Though I wish Omega include both bracelet and rubber straps given the pricing, like Tudor.

Very sporty bezel complimented by the nice orange GMT hand. Congrats!
