Title: Watch boxes/cases for storage
Post by: jf98 on December 31, 2015, 12:30:40 AM
Hey guys, been looking for a box recently to store my watches. Any recommendations? Would prefer if it is genuine leather(higher quality finish) with a glass top so i can see the watches. Only need about 6-8 slots. Help will be much appreciated  :)

I notice that getting a solid wood with nice plush watch pillow is kinda difficult. Bumped across some in armcorp but really expensive. In Penang, it is even rare.

That's a nice price, where did u get it from? Does it have additional turn settings? Or just the standard winding options?

Try the INVICTA Pelican style watch cases, they come in sizing for 1 watch, 3 watches, 8 watches and 50 watches.

Due to photobucket, can't post pics...
But this is what I am using.
Abit pricey... but tough as nails... and good looking to boot...

You should try getting a watch box that is high enough to store your watches, ive bought one from robinson its a very simple / slim watch box but whenever i closes the box it will hit one of my bigger watch and ended scratching the side :Blue: :Blue: :Blue: so get a tall and big watch box

Or you could go the proper way by getting a Pelican case?

I just ordered the Pelican 1200 with it's pick n pluck foam. That size should fit 8 watches comfortably.

all the faux leather lining will eventually peel, no?
better get the velvet fabric kind IMO.

An alternative to Pelican case would be the Nanuk. Fully made in Canada.

I recently picked up a Nanuk 910, actually it arrived today. Haven't worked on it yet to fit my watches but I estimate it'll fit 10 watches.(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180330/17485f46871b5fe67f8fa4c41e9134e2.jpg)
