Hi alice ,

I think you got a wide range to decide .  It is only up to your budget . Few car I think is suitable for ladies : Start from cheapest...

1)Perodua Myvi - price around 40 to 50k . very nice car to use in town.good pickup/acceleration , easy to drive and easy to park , very responsive , spacious and fuel consumption not high . maintenance is also cheap. The only thing is that if you use it for long distance journey , then maybe slightly disappointed.sound proof and car stability a bit poor.top speed also a bit disappointed.

2)Suzuki swift - price around 70k . also a very nice town car . good acceleration , small size , easy to drive and park . fuel consumption also not high. nice exterior . The only concern is maintenance , not sure it is cheap or not as suzuki's car is a bit few in malaysia . Also afraid resale value.

3)Toyota vios - price around 70k . I think no need to say more about this car . A lot of ppl know.Fuel consumption low , good pickup , low maintenance and good resale value . It is only the exterior look which i think is subjective. But for me , i don't like the interior and room space maybe a bit small.. ( Honda city is also in this segment but a bit expensive compare to vios - city - 84k above)

4)Nissan latio sport hatchback . Price around 95+k . Interior spacious , quiet engine and good sound proof , responsive acceleration.but a bit expensive for a 1.6 car.

5)Higher price range is honda civic 1.8 or toyota altis . Price ranging from 110k to 120k.Can read my previous post review on altis and civic.

6)Last but not least which i think is everyone's dream car - Mini cooper 1.6 or cooper S ...  hehehe    ;D

Hopefully can help you a bit . Maybe yen can add somemore comment.

Thanks..

I was once thought of getting a mini but my cousin told me the maintenance is as expensive as BMW so gave up the idea... i think buy is ok but i just don't want to spend much in the long run for a car... unless i start printing $  ;D

Yup Scott..... mini cooper is a stunner  but very expensive to maintain. Spare parts hard to come by and resale value

Stiill looking and considering. Have not really decide.

really depends on how the car will be used.....one person? driving to work and back? plenty of choices outside nowadays...

funnily, i agree with Scott.
i wish i am that fortunate...5 minutes drive...from house to work.  If distance not too far, maybe can consider walking..healthy and less stressful...!

but if you still interested, then perhaps a Latio...?
