The  original U1 is more practical watch than the black U1. I find the black U1 is more of a novelty like u adding gems to a GMT 2 or Submariner. It looks cool nevertheless :) I don't know if u can view the display under low light where the light is not enough light to charge the lume and not bright enough to read the dial clearly.

the lume is no good and doesnt last long.... so reading in low light is still ok.... but without the contrast is not as good....

its a nice watch. finally seen it in person. but i find the buckle a bit "ugly" its so huge..  still deciding on whether to get it or not...   will be in kl on the 24th.. maybe i'll go THG cc again..

I have on my wrist today one of the best value in a dive watch, the Alba "Manta Ray" 200m diver. Ticking inside is the Seiko 7S26 caliber.
