Where to buy Bond and Rhino Strap?
« on: March 04, 2009, 08:23:46 AM »
Hi

Does anyone know where I can get these straps preferably from a shop located either in SG or MY? Or a web store with a store located "locally"? I prefer the Rhino than the Nato strap coz I want a thicker strap.

Thanks

The shop i mentioned is the one we had talked about in the other topic, FocusTime, Ah Lam there..not sure if he selling these types of NATO strap but I know he do sell a good quality NATO style strap. The holes are padded with leather. selling around 95 ringgit if I remember correctly.

Btw, I like the seiko below. Anyone know where can I get one? I saw one before but can remember where.

Yes, I do believe that Lam keep stock of those NATO strap.......The last nato strap I asked was around rm65.. for my military seagull chrono.

For the Seiko - submariner, you have to hunt around at those older shop in the Klang Valley that keep these old new stock. The last pc I saw was also at Summit at one of those watch stores... and takes around rm600-950

Happy hunting

I am almost a recovered watchaholic, but last checked shows only 70% recovered. How?

Those local shops have Nato straps but they are either flimsy or a 2 ring strap. And the ring is not the type I want. I would prefer those round cross section ring than those flat ones. Bond strap only comes with flat cross section ring.

Another friend of mine, who also a patron of Lam watch shop, recommended me to get it from web shop.

You can buy that from this website http://www.timefactors.com/nato.htm. Scroll half way down the page. I bought mine from there and it arrived last week. The strap is pretty good quality

SShark,
Was there any postal charge or tax? Do they impose any minimum purchase amount?

Thx,
Alvin C.

I didn't pay for tax. Yes, you pay for postal charges, 1.5 pound. There is no minimum purchase amount that I am aware of. Just in case, go thru their T&C to be sure.
