Hi mate, I'll see your Planet Ocean and raise you on a homage that I just built! Can't quite afford the real thing so this would have to do  ;D

Well the Planet Ocean was once quite affordable but I still had to juggle the payments with 2 credit cards back then as I recall. Affordability. It's a debtors mind game.

Nice homage sir! How did you build it though? I do have some vintage pieces in mind i'd like to build, starting with the 1655 Freccione.

Here's the process flow of the build @ https://andywristwatches.blogspot.com/2019/04/franken-mod-seiko-skx007j1-planet-ocean.html. It was a work in progress, which was just completed earlier the week.

Are you rebuilding the actually Rolex Eii 1655 Freccione, or a homage? It's a coincidence as I actually ordered the 1655 homage dial from Dagaz, and am waiting for it to arrive for my next Franken Mod.

Ahhhh, I didn't know what you meant by building your own watches but I understand now. You're converting your watches using custom parts. Cool!

I've always wanted a Freccione but it's totally unattainable for me. I do have a Seiko Sea Urchin sitting idle somewhere. Maybe I can turn it into some sort of 1655 homage. Maybe
