A drive to Philip Island to see the little penguines from Melbourne is also a nice addition.

Thanks Manish, well its a start to know something about Shimla.
 
I think its good to know about the place from people before you go, as when you make your trip there you can visit all the best places and not miss out on anything.

a lot of good cafes that serve excellent brunches: Operator 25, Hardware Society, Higher Grounds and etc

Definitely a must to visit phillps island. Great place to experience seeing the koala bears and penguinsup close.

Phillip island for the penguins. u can see a group of them coming up
