Vacheron Constantin selling at Rolex price, will you buy?
« on: February 06, 2018, 11:00:55 PM »
Vacheron Constantin FiftySix Self-winding basic model selling at Oyster perpetual price.
Although no Geneva Hallmark and not in-house movement. But who can question Vacheron heritage and workmanship?

Will you tempted to have one?

No Geneva Hallmark and no in-house movement. It is a bit like a Panerai Due with water resistance of 30m. What is really the point?

Provided a Panerai are selling at 15k or less.
After all 98% won't swim with their Panerai either, let alone diving.   :Laughing_on_floor:

Patek / AP also not all using in house, many running with JLC movt.
Philippe Dufour also don't have Geneva Hallmark, even if have do you really need such level of finishing? Polished at every bevels and angles.

Since you like it no matter what other commented, then grab it. You won’t regret to spend on something that you like.

Apart from the movement, I guess the dial, case, font etc. Are equally attractive to you from an overall perspective.
