Even though speed has been always the source of inspiration to Bell & Ross watches design, from B-Rocket 2014 to Aero-GT 2016 and those Renault Formula One team....

The unique colour of the belly tanker dial grow on me! It’s actually metallic brown, bit of gold!

I actually tried on and reviewed the V1 together with another 2 variants earlier

After a week wearing this V2-94 Belly Tanker, I’m a little regret with my earlier choice of the Garde-Cotes
http://www.malaysiawatchforum.com/index.php?topic=18659.0

Side by side, your pick ?
Pulsometer or tachymeter?

You may read the history of belly tanker from the official site, I will just focus on the fit & finish of the watch!

I been wearing my Garde-cotes quite often on the bracelet, hence i put on a 3rd party rubber strap on this, it’s no surprise that it’s easy match ! I guess any black or brown leather or rubber will match this well

41mm stainless steel case
It’s well fit on most men wrist!

The case is very well finished
With contrast of brushed and mirror polish!

Biggest improvement of BR vintage 2017 V2-94 Case are the new crown & screw lock Chrono pushers

Tachymeter is engraved and black lacquered on the brushed finished bezel
side & edged chamfered with mirror polished!

Caseback is screwed in with see through sapphire reviewing the work horse Eta 2894-2 Chrono movement

The limited edition numbering and belly tanker image that printed in silver on sapphire are actually look black in many angle

The ETA 2894-2 movement are very well finished
blued screws
Rodhium plated
Perlaged
Rotor engraved
Etc

Below the raised dome sapphire crystal
Is the beautiful & balance looking

metallic brown colour dial
with no-compass arrangement 2 same size black window with thin polished frame
30 Min chrono at 9
& small second at 3
Brushed hour markers

Only flaw is the date disc color is slightly different from the dial... however, many big brands need no mentioned name, nvr even change their date disc colour at all!

It’s overall looking is versatile
I wear
with long sleeve to work
Play badminton with shorts
Weekend on jeans & t shirt

Size is just right, comfy... you can feel the present on wrist but not too big!
The perfect size
Oversize watches is out of trend soon!
We do seen more smaller size watches in just over sihh

Side by side with the 42mm Br03

After a week on my wrist, it’s continue to glow on me!
Do you agree with me that this is the best looking BR from the vintage series ?

I certainly am a big fan of Bell & Ross and I think both the SS and the bronze look special. They really know how to play the vintage/heritage game very well for such a relatively young company. Love the hint of Daytona with the screw down pushers.

If I had one little gripe it would be the strap width. I think 20mm would be more elegant than 22mm but to each his own.  A nicely balanced and beautiful watch nonetheless.
