New watch lover!
« on: September 08, 2017, 08:20:44 PM »
Hi there everyone!

Looking forward to being a part of this community! I just started this passion and have assembled a humble collection of a 2008 Omega Seamaster Co-Axial 300m Diver 2920.80, 2016 Tag Heuer Carrera war201c, 2015 Tag Heuer Aquaracer wak2110, 1977 Rolex GMT pepsi 1675, 2015 Seiko Premier and a Bell & Ross BR126 Aeronavale (which I want to sell).

Im looking forward to adding many more watches to my collection and would like to learn from all of you.

Regards,
Big Picture

I guess I'll start with my inherited 1977 Rolex GMT 1675. I changed the bezel insert and crystal to new at rolex malaysia, but I kept the old faded bezel cause according to crazy vintage rolex collectors the more faded and used the better!

Welcome. Nice collection you've got there. How did you manage to hold unto the old 1675 bezel? AFAIK, RSC does not return old parts once they are changed.

I bought a slightly broken genuine bezel on ebay for quite cheap, And then I removed my original and replaced it with it and only then sent it to RSC. A bit of a loophole but I was lucky to find a genuine bezel for cheap.

Actually I just had a look on ebay and there are some genuine 1675 pepsi bezels for sale under RM2k. I got mine for slightly less than that though.
