Not really new but not really old.
« on: June 30, 2017, 12:09:53 PM »
Hi all,

I've been lurking here for a while but wasn't as interested in watches. Then I decided to get into watches when researching how to restore my late dad's Seiko Diamatic. After that I find that wearing an heirloom has a lot of sentimental value and I would like to buy watches that I can leave as a legacy.

That search started me into a long spiraling road down the rabbit hole. A year ago, I only had one watch I wear 90% of the time. Today, my watches don't have enough wrist time.  :o

Anyway, doing some introduction and today I'll be making another purchase. Hopefully my next purchase will be longer down the line. I can't afford this hobby anymore. :)

The only consolation out of all of this is that my purchases are quite careful and I believe if I do sell some, I won't lose a lot of money. *fingers crossed*.

We all have been there, done that and bought the T-shirt...

LOL...your little "predicament" sounds a little like something all of us has or had at some point. Welcome and do post some pictures.

Sounds like you are in the right place. We all have this serious sometimes problematic predicament.  I'm certain the Sifu members here will give you alot of counseling and support and lead you deeper down the slippery slope.. Hehe.  Welcome and happy Saturday.
