Nice collection. I love how it escalated straight to the Nautilus.

Hello everyone.

Thanks for the feedback, and Greetings. A bit late to the party but nevertheless, I’m thrilled to have found a local forum to share our passion for watches.

I was bitten by the horology ‘bug’ at an early age (since I started primary school), but ‘graduated’ only some 30 years later with the financial means (and courage) for foray into higher end timepieces.

The quest of late has been in acquiring some of the more iconic pieces.

Yes, my next target is an Audemars Piguet, possibly Royal Oak Offshore Navy 26470ST (though the Royal Oak Ref 15202 ST is more tempting as a collectible).
ALS Saxonia Annual Calendar (Platinum or White Gold) would round off the collection really nicely. The holy grail is Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar Chronograph 5970G, but I’m not going to hold my breath!

I’m also thinking of trading in my Rolex Explorer II to help finance the purchase of the Hulk Submariner. Thoughts?

Not pictured in here is a Cartier Santos 100 XL.

Current Collection:
Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711-1A
Rolex Daytona Cosmograph, Black Dial
Panerai PAM 88 Luminor GMT
Rolex Explorer II, Black Dial 16570
IWC Pilot Chronograph IW3777-01
Chopard Mille Miglia Chronogrpah GMT Limited Edition 2005 Panda Dial
Cartier W20073X8 Santos 100 XL, Steel
Maurice Lacroix Masterpiece Phase de Lune, MP6347-YS101-92e
Hamilton Automatic Intra-matic, H38755751
Tissot T-Touch Expert

I like your idea of trading up from the Explorer 2 to the Hulk and i highly recommend you go for it.

Just pulled the trigger on the AP Royal Oak Offshore Navy Ref 26470. It was tough toss up between this piece and the Royal Oak Jumbo Ref 15202. Purists may cringe but in the end it was the Navy that sang to me. Sorry for the poor quality of the picture, hastily done.
