Strap Life
« on: July 16, 2014, 11:07:36 AM »
Hi, anyone have got a first hand experience how long a custom leather strap will last ?
Or better what is the longest period you have worn one and what is the condition now ?
Just curious to find out and lets minus the strap defect or odd scenarios to keep things real due to daily wear and tear.
Thanks for sharing.

thats a difficult one

custom strap life span will depend on

1. who make it
2. what material - strap and stitch
3. stitch pattern
4. how often you wear
5. how you wear
6. what is your activity when you wear
7. how much your sweat
8. how you maintain your strap

a good strap with good care... shd ast you easily 10 yrs

there are some makers from thailand and singapore. a couple from indonesia. But their prices are not really  a lot cheaper from the US and European strap makers. Average price is USD80 up to USD 250 depend on the maker as some are more famous and been around long enough to command this fee for their workmanship.

Go google and your should find them.
