An unusual NOS Seiko find...
« on: May 05, 2013, 02:15:50 PM »
An unusual NOS Seiko - what I believe to be a Seiko Olympic Perpetual Calendar with 6M13 inside. Model 6M13-7010. According to the production calculator, made in July 1993.

I always wanted a Seiko Age of Discovery... I guess this will do too...

Bracelet was tarnished beyond redemption... but it looks handsome on leather. Watch was however serviced by the retailer prior to purchase. Thanks for looking!
Regards
Kelvin

Great watch! ... congrats, Lanatir!

<"Perpetual Calendar">

Yes ... if you have a close look at the bezel -
and there at the 2 o´clock position, it should
end only in the year of 2400 ... seems to be a watch
very well suited to be passed on to your progency?

BB

Nice acquisition you've got.

Can't say I like the sine wave second hand, but other than that, it does look classic.

enjoy your new watch and wear it in good health.

That is the most beautiful watch i've ever seen. I guess the bezel is of gold and the the design of the hands are quite unique. I wonder how much that costs but i'd certainly go for this very unusual watch.

thanks guys... the watch is not solid gold... only plated  ;D

The date shown on the perpetual is reading 5th May, but why the day hand isn't pointing to Sunday? (Actually I'm not quite sure what it is pointing at)
Also, what is the function of the bezel? A different tachymeter variation?
