steinhart Nav B first version...
« on: May 22, 2009, 10:55:09 PM »

i bought this watch 2 yrs plus ago before it ready to open to market...
received it few months later.... i felt 48mm was just simply too big on my wrist...
then my bro in law love it for the first sight... so after seeing this sit well
on his bigger wrist, i sold it to him... i regret after that... because it is really well
built, it is so affordable, it was only few been built (steinhart change the dial later)

2 days ago, my bro in law hand it to me for sending it to a trusted watchmaker for service...
because it is running too fast (after he let it play by his 3 yrs old daughter few days)

i'm feeling regret again when it back on my hand... it is sa beautiful...

when i compare it with the azimuth jag bombardier who use the same case...
it stand out! why?
it has a very well ar coated inside doom crystal...

it has a very thick caseback, so the big onion crown never touch my hand when i wear...

it only cost less than half of discounted azimuth jag bombardier

the movement is a decorated eta 6497 with blued screws

blued hand

famous beobachtung dial... the all luminous index

I totally understand your feeling after looking at that ex-beauty of yours  :P
It's no doubt a stunning timepiece
Vintage military design, matt black dial, oversized crown, thin bezel, BP style leather strap ... you name it
Nice macro shots by the way
