Cool project. I would certainly be interested in getting one if the price does not cost me an arm or a leg.
Anyway my personal preference would be:

i) ETA movement rather than Miyota.
ii) Cushion case rather than round.
iii) Lug to lug should not be more than 50mm to better Asian wrists.

The military hands look cool. Any helium release valve?
Any price estimate at the moment?

i also prefer eta 2824-2. so to get eta 2824-2, watch got to send to swiss to assemble, so it is swiss made then otherwise we cant get the movement.

i think cushion will look good.... thats why enzo, shaumberg, ocean7.... all who use the case selling well...
this enzo sold out in very short time... and still ppl looking for it in secondary market now... i was too lucky to have it from enzo free

but we must redesign the crown, dial and hand.... to make it a unique piece!

this cushion case has a short little curve lug... so the 42mm enzo around 48mm lug to lug
the 44mm around 50mm lug to lug....

yes.... you will have helium excapement valve...

if miyolta movement is use... then rm1.2k maybe
if using eta 2824-2 cmovement, price could be around rm2k plus

anyone know any local ppl can got good cnc machine? and can cut out the case? dlc?
pls recommend.... then we can keep the cost low!

yenfoolun, you have that for free?? Lucky you!!! Tell us your trick :D

Nice watch you got there!

I too prefer ETA movement, around 44mm case (i'm so into panerai now and 44mm is the smallest size to me  :P ), if possible, have the diver marking bezel :)

but honestly, how do you want to move this project a head? Do we have to buy all 100case from your friend? roughly what's the cost like?

How about a project for a custom-made panerai-like?? A PVD case, left handle crown, sandwich and 2 hands...kekekekek

cheers!

Sounds reasonable for a one off 100 piece LE watch.

Sorry. I don't know anyone with a cnc machine. Anybody else here who has the right contacts?

Cool! How about this:-

1) No crown guard...
2) the HV at 2 oclock?
3) No wording on the dial?
4) No date and max the marker?

also, the lug is a bit weird..

Just my opinion :)

yes... decided to take out the crown guard unless have better looking 1...
escapement will not look good at 2... even move crown at 3 to 4.... it proven... most watch with that design
not selling well.... look at shaumburg new 2000m gmt....

i also prefer no wording on dial.... put the professional automatic 1000m all at the case back
date... still considering
yeah man.... max the marker to have more lume!

lug is come with this case.... to have the vintage look.... also to make it more wearable.... (shorter in overall)
50mm from lug to lug.... otherwise alot of our friend cant wear!
but believe me... it will look better in real...

How about :-

1) One thing i'm not sure, even if the existing Helium release at the 10 oclock, will it functionally work or just design? if it's purely for design, possible to use HV like Rolex SD?

2) How about just put "1000m" on the dial and then max all marker? otherwise i think a clean dial will be unique on its own..

The bezel looks OK in my opinion, diver may need the count down from 15 to end...

cheers!

Cool watch!!! But not sure 48mm will be too big :D Is this yours :)?

I can see a marker (dot) under each number on the bezel..if all market has lumi, it will be nice too :)

Yeah..me too a desk diver LOL!! Dive 8 hours a days...sometime more :D And the counter is important for the end of day count down (check if enough time to say good bye to colleagues, last email, shutting down PC, etc) LOL!!
