Tudor Pelagos with small defect
« on: November 25, 2019, 02:41:27 PM »
Hi guys, so I have just bought a Tudor Pelagos with a small defect. The word "GENEVE" on it became "GENEVF". Personally, I think it makes it to be more valuable because it is pretty hard for a renowned company like Tudor to make an error like that. Imagine this watch went through QC and many peoples' eyes without the defect being detected. What do you guys think?

Did you buy this from an authorized dealer?

Nobody will notice it unless you take it off. Do make sure you don't lose the paperwork tho. Mind posting a close up picture of it?

Perhaps you might wanna have a close check on the dial. Whether it peels off and drop and stuck somewhere inside the dial.

Just a thought.

Otherwise it sure is a rare Pelagos you bought.

Freakish but rare, unless Tudor really screw up and made a bunch of it.

That is so cool. Did you get it at RRP or discounted?

You obviously had not heard of the double 9 Air King. You'd be surprise there were actually a lot of bloopers in Rolex/Tudor QC. A misprint could be highly sought after.
