Just arranging for a date to drive the car  Really nice interior, but the exterior seems to be lacking a little oomph!

And wah, like that also can see the shoe ka? But it just looks nice only... #macamyestapibukan  ;D

LOL for the shoe.   ;D

So which 1 will you be driving, the coupe or spider?

The exterior is the result of multiple wind tunnel testing. I think people feel that it is lacking because of the totally striking 458. It's like Roger Federer & Rafael Nadal, Ayrton Senna & Alain Prost. For me thou, I totally adore anything McLaren made. On paper, MP4-12C is just every bit a little better than 458 also. Just that the 458 have a little bit more of "soul".

Just my 2 cents.

Funny thing about Italian products is they tend to be described as having a "Soul"
Alfa Romeo owners say the same thing... (I am an Alfisti)
As with anything with a soul, you have to care for it like a women.
Speak bad about it and the next day, it breaks down... hahaha
No joke... saying this from my personal experience driving an Alfa 146 twinspark 10 years ago...
That baby is beautiful during it's time... me too described it as having a soul.
Makes me bleed money and had to divorce it... lol
Now, some ppl described the GTR as a soulless robotic precision driving machine... but it blows away most competitors in the value / performance comparo...
Soul? hmmm... funny word to define...

Going to be the coupe; the spider looks gorgeous though.

Hanz is right; the ones lacking soul tend to be the serious performers (i.e. Porsche 991, GTR, etc). Myself, I like efficiency and can't really care about soul. I think it really depends on what you're looking for in a car - if you're a bit of a flamboyant driver who is looking for some drama and style, you would work well with 'soul'. If, like me, you only want to get from point A to B in the least amount of time... I think we're ok with no 'soul' :D

I think its part to do with the owner's character and partly the age thing.
I was an Alfisti for 15 yrs spending every weekend in the specialist Alfa workshop babying whichever model I was driving at that time (went through 4 models all in all)... being bled to death financially but at that ignorant phase in my life, still stupidly blissful..

When I finally grew up a few years ago, decided enough was enough... went for a true blue Made & Assembled in Deutschland car.. souless, quiet, efficient, faster than my previous Alfas and trouble free. Not a single glitch since the day I got it yrs ago.. only scheduled servicing...
true heaven..

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Can't believe my simple comment can spark so many reply, also bring out Alfisti(s).

I guess you all are right, it is about the driver's/ owner character.

In fact, my definition of "soul" in a car is also the character in the design. Something like a box has no soul, while an egg does.

Yes, hardly seeing any Alfa in KK but quite a few Ferrari wondering around seems like KK full of rich people

Bro... don't have to kesian the Q5. After all, it was made to do this! Just watch it soaring high into the air!

 ;D

Also had some time behind the wheel of an A7:

Available were the Q3, Q5, and Q7. Surprisingly, it was the Q3 and Q5 that felt the most agile over the muddy terrain; most likely due to weight. After 3 rounds, the Q3 was able to almost lap the lardy Q7!

Spent many hours behind the wheel of the MY2013 base Panamera 4 yesterday. V6 under the hood good for 310hp/400Nm and a century sprint of 6.1 secs; with updated lights on both front and rear. While I do like the facelift, I kinda of hate the fact that it now looks like a current 911 in front, and Boxster/Cayman on the rear.

Overall, I do like this car. To me, it look pretty good, but capturing its beauty on camera is another story altogether. If I had to get one, I'd stick with the more basic model with only two driven wheels. Save about RM20k, and splurge a little more on the options list for cosmetics  ;D
