For normal use I think Goodyear is good, I have used it for 3 years and the condition still good.
Review from my friend, Bridgestone and Continental is also good but the price bit expensive.

been using Michelin PS3's for quite a number of years. compared to other tires i tried, hankook v12, bridgestone re050a,yoko cd2 and falken 912, these PS3s offers the best performance and durability. not to mention quiet too.

now itching for PS4s.  ;D

For normal usage, I find that Continental MaxContact MC5 (made in Malaysia) provides relatively good grip and is value-for-monies. For SUV, Toyo Open Country (made in Japan) has relatively low road noise and diverts water well. For ladies, I find that Goodyear Eagle F1 Run-Flat (made in Germany) drives well around fast corners and diverts water well. And because it is Run-Flat, one would be able to drive on even when there's an ad-hoc puncture. However, at circa RM2.7k per 20" tire, it is relatively heavy on the pocket too; although the performance is top-notch.

agree with you! you get what you pay for. I tried mc5 before it's really expensive but worth it

My vote goes to Viking, since the first time that I changed the original tire. I been using this brand for a few years.
It's not premium brand, so pricing wise is really affordable.
For quality it's acceptable, good in both braking and cornering...
Since it's under the continental. I guess some how it inherited the German technology.

ive run Continentals for years followed by Michelin... i used to run Yoko's but found them to wear out too fast.
The only thing i refuse to use are runflats.. too heavy and cause too much inertia on the car... not good for performance but good for daily reliability, i prefer performance lol

Voted for Bridgestone RE003

Pros
1) Good dry handling & control
2) Good wet handling & control - I'm not a fast driver on wet roads, so far so good.
3) Tyre wear rate is excellent (used for 7 months around 30,000 mileage and still fine)
4) 18 inch around RM 600-650

Cons
1) Bumpy ride
2) Road noise on the high side (compared to Michelin PS3 which I previously owned - reason to switch - botak too fast.

Continental is my preferred choice. Running them on both cars 15s and 17s and good compromise on comfort, handling and price.

With Michelin ps3 throughout the years (past and present rides), gunning for ps4 once current tyres go "bald".

Bridgestone, longer lasting than Michelin. That’s my personal experience

Over the years with different cars, I have used Dunlop, Silverstone, Goodyear, Continental, Pirelli, Michelin, Bridgestone & Falken.

I find that there are only 3 brands I consider to be good - Pirelli, Bridgestone & Michelin only.

Currently, in my present car, I am using Michelin tyres for quite a number of years.  I find them to be about the best in control and good during raining, etc.  Bridgestone is quite good, but it wears out much faster than Michelin.

I have used Continental, which can be considerred to be quite cheap comparatively, but the condition of it is not good over a period of time, that is why I changed to Michelin :)
