Mind to share the pic before/after polish? From what I heard, the best place you can polish your Rolex is at RSC.

Yes better not polish it before the service interval. Rolex stainless steel can withstand 8 times of polish and 5 times for solid gold.

What will happen if you polish it more than 8 times? thinner lugs and imbalanced watch head?
Is this applies to 5 digit Rolexes or the 6 digit Rolexes with fatter lugs?

The casing will start showing over polished, yes thinner lugs. It applies to 6 digit Rolexes i guess, as this information was shared by a spokesperson of Rolex after year 2000 in an online article. Tried to find back the article so I can share it here but couldn’t find one.

I bought my watch from Wingwah and they free polish all time.
You can buy polish material from Lazada easily and polish yourself too.
