Watch suggestion for RM15k Budget
« on: July 09, 2017, 09:20:18 PM »
As the subject, I am looking for a watch around Rm 15k budget that match me.

I am only 21 years old, so probably dont suggest something too old for me to admire  :Laughing_on_floor:

My wrist is tiny can't fit big watch. Thus, case below 42mm is perfect for me.

Thank you for your help. It will be very much appreciated

If you want it brand new, you can try Tudor.

For preown piece, you can try out many brands with RM15k budget.

IWC pilot or Omega speedmaster could be good for your wrist and budget.

IWC pilot or Omega speedmaster could be good for your wrist and budget.

I had consider omega moonwatch before, but it use hesalite instead of sapphire. Will it be hard to take care of?

I suggest the omega moonwatch (RRP RM18.9k)...
Is s very versatile watch , and match with any straps and will change its appearance .

I think any scratches on the hesalite can be
easily polished.

The light reflection effect on the doomed
hesalite is mesmerizing to see !

If you are looking for a dive watch, then Tudor Black Bay or Pelagos is a good choice.
If you looking for something iconic and time tested, then The Moonwatch is a pretty good choice too.
Depends on what you want. Go chk em out.

I think Tudor Black Bay is a good buy of you into Diver watches. Zenith Chronomaster El Primero is a good option if u can go bit over budget. For your age I would suggest Zenith or Tudor new age design with good long term value and Heritage

After all my research, I had come it with either omega moonwatch professional or tudor black bay or tudor pelagos.

Which should I go for? dilemma

I think it's a matter of personal taste. When I was out to buy a watch recently I tried all these you mentioned and despite the fact Omega is one of my all time favorite brand and Tudor being one of my never liked brand  I ended buying Tudor Black Bay.
Pelagos is nice but there's something special about Black Bay and my vote would be for Black Bay.
Pelagos looks more of a tool watch whereas Black Bay has a different style, a Heritage feel yet modern looks.
Try both on your hands and let the watch speak to you.

can't agree me much. blackbay indeed is a very nice watch. but just the only turn off is there is no date previously. The new s&g and steel series include a date but not my personal colour tho

Just couple years ago you could get a Speedy Pro below RM15k but not today as the price has increased.
If diver watches, i would go for Tudor Black Bay & Pelagos and Omega Seamaster Pro Diver 300m.
If brand is not important then I would go for Sinn U1 + Damasko DA36 and I think still have balance money.

Buy used, from a reputable dealer, it will come with a 1 year warranty, and may even only be a couple of years old with the manufacturers warranty still valid. You could get a nice Omega Seamaster (co-axial with silicon balance springs have a 4-year warranty) for that.

If you really want new, Tag offer great values for money. A Carrera was my first foray into the luxury Watch market 10 years ago and you can still get those new for around that price.

If you want new model with that kind of price range and size, you can go for BR 03-92 Diver. It's like a crossbreed between Rolex Sub + BR aviation. The retail price is 15K but you can get it around 12K after 20% discount.. and if you're lucky enough, you might get another 3-5% dis more depends on your negotiation skill.

Seamaster diver 300m RRP RM15.7K, discount probably 10%-15% for omega which is now tightly controlled .
