This watch seems very elegant and classy. In my opinion, it looks like the IWC Portofino collection. Reasonable for the appearance I say.

Let's just say...

I'd rather be watch-less for another few years to save up for a JLC Ultra Thin...

Nailed it.

James Bond author said he wont, how bout others?

Lets just say.... You are on limited budget, would u rather not wearing any watch than buying a DW? Let say, u got lubang to buy dw with substantial discount?

Honestly, while I dont like DW, I think it is good to bring people back to wearing watches.

I like the minimalist design but I wouldn't buy one for myself. As a gift to someone, probably. I must say that their marketing team did a good job in marketing this watch (to WIS?). I think it's a decent fashion watch compared to brands of the likes of Fossil, Guess, etc.. But I couldn't help but put on a smug expression everytime I see someone on instagram/fb showing off their DW as if it's a luxury piece. Nobody I know is wearing one though (yet).

Quite popular with the teenagers, few of my fresh grad employees wears them.

Been trying to get my wife interested in watch. Some how this watch caught my wife's attention and she is considering to get one even after i've offering her a Rolex Datejust.

Depends on what you are looking for. A simple accessories to match a dress down weekend at a local cafe, yeah. very similar to a VC Patrimony. A more economical alternative would be a Frederique Constant Slim Line.

I think I agree, at last partly. Any watch is a good watch if it is being worn.

I would say that DW watches are fashion watch, so the price are reasonable and the company are doing well in marketing. I saw that many malaysian and singaporean are wearing this brand of watch. So if you wanna find a lower price watch, this would be quite a good watch for wearing.

Actually for a non WIS, i would kind of agree to advise DW and G shock, its always a good to get ppl start wearing watches again.

Off course mechanical still have its charm, but in serious fact, not everyone need a mechanical.

DW = nothing more than a fashion quartz watch.

If you want to spend that amount of money, get a G-Shock/ Protrek/ Seiko 5.

DW is made in the world famous watch production area situation between the Jura valley. All DW watches are running on fully in-house movements produced in their little workshop by hand. Each hand crafted watch is then assembled meticulously by hand. They even use the best Swiss made battery to power their fully in-house quartz movement.  :Laughing_on_floor:
