Recon Toyota Wish,
Brand New Grand Livina or Livina X-Gear,
Recon Mitsu Grandis,
Brand New Naza Kia Rondo II,

That's those that I can come up with on top of my head.

thnx guys.... will talk to my wife on the polo...

mazda 2 hatchback vs fiesta?

If you already narrowed down to Mazda 2 hatchback vs fiesta hatchback.

100% go for fiesta.

Let's see Fiesta vs Mazda 2 feature:

6-Speed Dual Clutch Powershift® Automatic Transmission / 4 speed automatic (once you try directshift gearbox, you won't go back for conventional automatic)
Electronic Stability Program (ESP) / Don't have
Traction Control System (TCS) / Don't have
Antilock Braking System (ABS) / Yes
Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD) / Yes
Driver & Passenger Airbags / Yes
Bluetooth/USB/iPod Connectivity & Voice Control / Not sure
    Power of 122PS @ 6300rpm / 76Kw (103PS) @ 6000 rpm
Ford Easy Fuel / Not sure
Fuel consumption 5.9L per 100KM / no record
16" alloy wheels / 15" alloy wheels (16" with higher spec)

With around 5k more... you got lots of things you can't get in Mazda2.

And the Fiesta look better  ;D

Between Fiesta and Mazda2, I would go for Fiesta as well.
More knick knacks and value for money... not to mention it looks better...

I support the Fiesta, test drove it and it handled very well.
Gearbox is very smooth in changes and the power delivery is good.
Small on interior space though.

Yea, Fiesta is equipped with almost european standard.
Polo, Fiesta & Mazda 2 will have similar room space, they are fall into same B segment car.

between,  i am not VW or Ford salesman... Just here to share my opinion.
I'm just a car lover like how much i like watch.  ;D

If you are lucky enough, you can spot some BMW's in Kajang area (Pre-owned cars) with good condition (year between 2005-2007) below RM80K.

ok, that mean hatch back, coupe will be better?

I suggest to get new car or at least 09 and above...
05 BMW, its time to change most of the parts... big maintenance.

plus, i think if u can find, its only for 318 4 door sedan.

VW show room is hot
Most model selling at gd discount

As for polo, new spec started oct11
Fog light, arm rest, better cd player, aux in, traction control
Price up rm5k
With the great discount, the used car is actually over price in my opinion

I'm a big time car freak although i do not have enough budget for great car.

Personally, i guess you have made a good decision for picking up the POLO for lady . Well, there is so much accessories in the market, and perhaps you will lose a PAM in order to fully dress up and mod the car. If the car is only your wife possession, i guess no point to dump so much money on it....kekekeke. If you think you can enjoy the pocket rocket once a week, i would suggest you go for the piggy bag tuning. I heard the TMC tuning box is quite good though.........

i hv no time to drive this... only drove few times....

love the performance, good enough for my speed, so far not many can catch me on the street... not even at karak highway down hill from genting....  :Dancing_banana: :Dancing_banana: :Dancing_banana:

so wont do any modification.... even the original 17" rims looks perfectly match....
only thing i dont like is, with my height, its bit tight on the leg....

what problem u heard?

so far my wife happy.... and last week she heard some sound and sent back.... free tuning  and setting....  now even more powerful....

u get 3 free service.... that means 45000... if u drive 3000 km a month also 1 yr +
if u drive 2000km a month its 2 yrs +
if u drive 1000km or less a month then its 3 yrs
free maintenance

so this end up even about the price of the japanese made 1.5 liter car....
but u get 7 speed dsg, powerful 1.2 turbocharged engine, 4 air beg + superb handling....
only thing less is the space... if u want space... the polo sedan is coming to hit u....

So you bought your wife a new polo?
What is the exact problem, can't really recall.i was briefly told about it.im quite interested with this car.wasnt really my plan to buy new car but there is a possibility that I have to buy car.
Another cars come in mind will be hybrid car.
I heard is powerful,on the highway.easily smoked out lots of cars.110-160km,very comfortable and stable.
How's the fuel consumption?quite important for me as I'm in sales line, requires frequent traveling.
Personally I'm a small size guy, drive too big car looks weird.

1.2 engine u can expect the fuel consumption is sure lower than the bigger engine....

for speed, i think the 2000cc japanese made also not easy to catch u....

small hatch back with the good tyres and traction control....
hmmm.... i saw a nissan fairlady disappeared from my mirror at karak highway from genting to kl....

err.... i never buy for my wife... she bought it for herself....

good to hear that.I have not test drive polo before but many comments were positive on the performance and stability of the car.maybe I can consider pre owned polo as it is below 100k.
Still have few months before I decide to buy a car
