for some watches, upper and lower part will have different direction for numbers.

how fast? i set my time at 1pm before i go out for lunch... when i come back at 2pm.... the watch show 3 pm!
how fast? i'm cracking the nuts.... so i email steinhart and call my watchmaker....
my watchmaker said it can be something wrong with the balance.... or wrong gear is use! so both i blame qc control...
steinhart replied and said agreed to let me check with my local watchmaker and bill him.... he also supprised with that!

this watch look familiar.....
STEINHART "AVIATION Edelstahl/ schwarz"
Art.Nr. 50001

almost... this is steinhart sawle.... i prefer the 2 hands and no logo dial.... so this 1 fit...

i see the 40 marker sitting in the wrong direction...is that suppose to be that way ?? as compared to the 45 and 50 marker?

i think nothing wrong with the markers... because is like 2 layers dial is deep below the inner marker ring... just illusion when u look from certain angle...

I once had a problem with an Orient. The watch suddenly started running super fast.
Turned out that the watch had been magnetised. Easily reversible by the watchmaker.

yenfoolun

Could it be that the watch be accidentally adjusted at 2pm (subconscious mind). I did that not once but twice and later came to realise that the time is one hour in advance or behind time.

Maybe you reset the time again and check out?..after all its only one hour??? just my two cents.

I think hight chances that the watch has been magnetised...Most of the watch maker has a device which can de-magnetise it...

just my guess!

Hi Yen,

I googled the watch after Silverstan called out brand and model. Its handsome looking watch ! Especially with black strap . Take some nice shots and post it on watch gallery pleaseee .

Btw, i come across a scenario where my 9 months old Zenith Port Royal ( shown in my pic gallery ) , those seconds, minutes and hour hands shows the sign of ' oxidation ' taken place. In layman terms, maybe 'rusting' or ' turning brownish' . Getting more and more significant day after day. I went back to my AD and they fixed new 'hands' for me . Well, can't remember if i had kept the pics or i even snap it ? So i can share with you all.

it is almost double the speed.... balance ticking normal... so i dont think is magnetized....
must be fitted with wrong teeth gear....

yes, it is a limited edition.... but now adays limited is not so limited!

here u go.... photo! the cotton external bag

the leather cover is beautiful.... one of it kind....

this is what u get

allen key for strap screw pin, strap change tool, extra all black leather strap and the watch on like tan leather strap!

the watch -front
44mm pvd case. it is not constructed like bell n ross at all...
black military look dial and hands... hence no logo

back - pvd case back
no see through... engraved le for saw... fitted a rough 6497

crown - pvd screw in st steel case back
engraved with saw logo

buckle - pre v style pvd buckle

lume - noticlumina.... it is blue in dark... it is very bright even though the index applied doesnt look thick to me

but at rm 2k.... it is a bargain...

if not the movement problem... i'll be very happy...
now wait for watchmaker to quote for repair.... then forward to seller the quote... if he agreed to refund.... then i 'll repair here....

since they already promised will bear the cost, they shouldn't delay for too long.
If the cost too high, maybe they will ask you send back to them.

good luck with you claim.
