1970's Citizen Eagle 7. Still in operation.

The Eagle logo with the letter "7" look so cool. Such a rare piece in that clean and nice cond. did you change the crystal or being polished?

I am not sure. I guess the seller could have polished it.

Thanks terrenceterrence..
So a bit info;
Case = unpolished +-40mm on a 6.5in wrist. Big watch back then....

Strap = 20mm quite big for vintage...

Hands = Original with what I think is original lume ( all lumes has same intensity and fades equally at night..) there is few other variation of hands..

Movement = Manual Landeron 248 ( some newer models might be fitted with V7733) Btw the movement runs pretty good for a 50year old..

Production date = circa mid 50s to mid 60s

Crown = unmarked (not so sure if it's original ( but seen a lot of the same models is without the "W" sign)) (those newer I assume with "Wittnauer Geneve" on the dial will usually have the "W" sign on the crown.

Dail = I found 2 variations so far ... this one with just "Wittnauer" and another with "Wittnauer Geneve". I think the later is newer and much easier available. But Wittnauer is not rare. Still affordable range.

Bezel = turns both way .. like most vintage watch, no clicks, nice light red brown colour.

Pushers = top - start, Bottom- stop and continue, top - reset. so to start- stop- reset = press top- bottom- top.. not your usual valjoux.

Best thing I like - big, good nice lume, choco bezel, the lollipop.... and of course.. it says Professional Chronograph, ahemm suit me nice since I am a professional money spender..... :Laughing_on_floor:

Question: I have no idea why they put a 5 minutes countdown on the minutes counter.... any ideas anyone..?

That's one fine looking Enicar...

Brings back memories of my school days...

You have a mighty fine vintage collection...

On Enicar sherpa ultradive today.  What special about this one is sea weed will not entangle on this  watch because the crowns are not sticking out protected by one fairly Big chunk of steel.

Personal taste and preferences evolve over years, hopefully not 1 full circle otherwise it means we haven't learnt a single thing.

Chris,  you are not getting old but I suspect you have been infected by 'too many watch not enough time' syndrome. ..
