i choose omega without doubt. seamaster and speedmaster are way cooler.
in terms of resell value, both are low however pawn shops love omega more. :shocked1:

For me there is no question that modern Omega divers are better tools.

Are you talking about Longines Legend Diver vs The Seamaster 300?

I'll go with the Seamaster  :P

Seamaster for sure! Either 300M or planet ocean will be my vote.

I would take Longines anytime, especially for vintage.
Longines used to be same tier with Rolex before it took over by Swatch group. Longines horology heritage is different league above Omega which only have moon watch.  Look at Longines vintage price you will know, its even higher than vintage Rolex sometimes. Look at the price of vintage Omega you will know what I mean.

Swatch have an Ace in hand but played it WRONG.. pathetic

If you're talking about Longines Legend Diver, it's an amazing watch for the money you pay. It's the first automatic that I owned and I still keep it until today. Any Omega diver will at least cost double but of course with considerable upgrade in terms of quality, in-house movement, etc.

Depends which model. But given the lack of info, Omega wins hands down and thats reflected in the price too.

As a first watch however, Longines Legend Diver is good value for the price - smart vintage looking, great lume and classic design which has stood the test of time.

The Seamaster 300 if you have the budget for it, should be the watch u go for if you want a diver, can't go wrong.

Both from swatch group
From the brand price positioning
Definitely omega is better made
Anti magnetic, accuracy.... etc

However, design is very individual
Longines work closely with ETA
Many of Those column wheel Chrono also  looks bargain if u like the design

Another vote for omega here. If you can get your hands on the very rare Planet Ocean 42mm Liquid metal that's a stunning piece.
