Hi everyone,Just started to get into watches not too long ago. Planning to buy a new watch from AD (Rolex Ceramic Daytona). Went into a few shops in Pavillion and Starhill. Waiting list 2 - 5 years. May I know what is the procedure to put your name on the waiting list?Do you normally pay a deposit?

Most boutique don't even bother to take our name for the queue! Only yday i had a long persuasion talk with one of the dealer: they can 'try' to fast track Daytona Ceramic if i buy another full gold Rolex Datejust. Any gold model will do but cannot even be gold/steel+diamond models. the cheapest full gold Datejust i checked is circa rm100k++.this one very expensive 'shortcut'...
you need to go Hong Kong
Every time I look in a Rolex boutique, only the models that nobody wants to buy are available. I really don’t get why they do that. If I cannot try a watch i cannot buy it.
