Actually, there is a U-Boat distributor here at Watch Atelier in Bangsar. But I do believe that is Singaporean owned.

I got the S51, bought it from Swatch in PJ. Was happy to own it but then realized the accuracy was terrible. My case was, if i wear it on the wrist from morning to night, the timing was ok,everything running fine, but when got home at night, left it on the table till morning, the timing slowed. In the next morning i realized that it lagged around 20-30minutes. I have tried to put it in several positions on the table but nothing's changed. I did realized the balance wheel slowed down when i picked up from the table. But when i wore it again, the timing maintained.

My S51 is second generation, the accuracy seems improved a bit. I timed it this morning and will check again see if it's still within +/-10 seconds per day.

There is a detailed review on the movement, accuracy seems not good.

Actually , by having plastic parts may not necessary be a bad thing. Please find the link. http://forums.watchuseek.com/f71/stripping-down-sistem51-1035814.html#/forumsite/20758/topics/1035814?page=3

Actually 20minutes slower per day , can be considered as manufacturer defect, you may wish to claim a new watch replacement directly from Switzerland Swatch Company under warranty(if claim from PJ AD maybe not so effective).

Oops..... But looking at the brighter side, it is a good excuse that you can get a new S51 without any guilt :Dancing_banana:

I do not want to buy any S51 after this. Just keep the old one is enough. Having one (even defective watch) is kinda good thing. I always believe every watch enthusiast should have 1 S51, which a technical achievement for the watch industry

Just discovered that S51 has extra wording on its dial. They are discreet that the wording are totally blended with the dial color. It read as "Swatch AG 2014".

Maybe it is one of its anti counterfeit feature.
