Upgrading from Tags and Omegas - the cut can be pretty deep!

It doesn't matter.  Most people prefer to 'fit in', so they don't want exclusive products, and are happy to pay premium prices for mass produced products.  Hence the enormous popularity of BMW / Mercedes / Audi, Apple and Rolex.

(the companies still have to make a decent product)

But Toyota and Honda quite easy to sell in used car market, but some of the brands at Pre-Owned Watches Section like not moving. hmm.

Thing has changed now.

As I can see the pre-owned watch sales section has very few Tag and almost none.

I think rolex has became too expensive over the years that young people like me will only have to go for tag, ball, longines and oris as ball park comparison. Maybe in latter years, only we upgrade to tudor, omega and rolex.

Thus, most of the ads on these decent price range will be snagged off fast enough
