Sad News from Penang
« on: January 18, 2010, 12:20:34 PM »
I was sad when heard the news from one of my secondary schoolmates yesterday.

4 of my secondary school juniors was dead and 2 still missing in one of the routine dragon boat training yesterday.
I was one of the members in dragon boat school team and we did captized once but all were fine.
Yes, none of us wore life jacket due to 'macho-ness' and wanted to act like hero. Come to think about it, it was dangerous and silly.
Rest in peace buddies  :Praying: :Praying:

feel sorry for the families.  :(

Always wear safety gears when in sports, just in case.
