Hello guys and all sifus,

I am interested to get a Rolex 116610LV (HULK), may I know the current waiting list status? How long do I have to wait?

Can I pay premium price to AD to get the watch as soon as possible? Anyone tried before?

Best Regards,
Sew

I am assuming getting one from Rolex AD right? If you have never been a customer of them I'd say good luck getting one.

A friend of mine put his name on the wait list 3 years ago and still nothing today.

Prepare to spend at least 60k on non sport precious metal model and they will sell you a Hulk at list price.

That's not paying premium price - that's extortion or blackmail, however one wants to put it  ;D

Paying premium price is simply plonking down XX% above boutique price & getting the watch, which ADs are no longer allowed to do .... publically  ;)  In any case, most mortals have no chance to be next anytime soon.

Since you're willing to pay premium, might as well get a new Hulk from a trustworthy independant dealer like WW or HT. That way you "hedge" your purchase at today's price.

The issue is that most ADs already have a waiting list spanning 2 years and more; and all those whom were prepared to put down the names were cautioned about the premium pricing. To purchase at close to RRP was possible if one was prepared to go on bundle deals. Having said that, it's still possible to get the 116610LV if one secures good working relationship with the ADs. Just swing by my blog and you could see how I have been helping fellow blog readers to get their desired 116610LN, 116610LV, 116710LN, and 116710BLNR on a monthly basis. So I dare say that yeah, supply was short worldwide; but it was still possible to secure these models. So don't get disappointed in your quest for the Hulk

Just walk in to the AD and tell them you don’t mind a bundle buy with Batman/Hulk/Daytona. They will tell you the criteria.

Vary from AD to AD.
I.e an AD at Nusentral, will sell you a Batman at rrp if you purchase minimum 60k for non sport models (with no disc).

Why don't you just get it from a grey dealer? Current price now is 50k and I could only see it going higher.

I saw few at 50k and even one at 51k but I am sure the transacted price will be lower.

You can't buy any new Day Date at 60k. The used one with 5 digit reference number plus a grandma panties bracelet, yes, maybe need to add few ks or so. The new one with lowest spec (no stone), should be no lower than 80k (after discount). The bundle sales work in this way, you have to purchase a Day Date, with no discount rate (let's assume 90k), then you are eligible to purchase the legendary hulk at retail price. Of course, providing the AD have Hulk in stock.

Another information is, AD is no longer accept waiting list. Pay premium and get it from secondary market seems to be a stupid wise option. I saw 3 hulks few days back in Tokyo, the cheapest one were asking 54k (non negotiable, not include 8%, you can ignore the 8 % as tourist), so if you can get a new one at 48k, it's a bargain.
