Rolex using magnifying glass

Hi all,

Want to post a question for everyone to share their thoughts. Does all Rolex model use magnifying glass?

No, there are many models that does not have the magnifying glass, or cyclops as it is more known to be called. Like for example, the submariner, Daytona, oyster perpetual, air king, the deep sea sea dweller and milgauss to name a few. But the cyclops was made a Rolex icon from the design of the datejust if I'm not mistaken. Do correct me if I'm wrong here as I am just shooting off the top of my head right now.

Technically the cyclops is only on date models and the only date model without a cyclops has been the older sea-dwellers.

Although I have a SubD, I still think that Rolex's sports pieces without the Cyclops looked more balanced. Point in case, my flipped SD4k and PO.
