This  Rolex 6092 in 18 k gold with black face , was purchased new in HongKong in 1951 by our family. The original box , test certificate , receipt , the original watch band and even the 'gold smith' price tag is attached. The watch is now with my son in Australia. h.chang

Beautiful...
How ignorant have I been for not even searching for the BEAUTIFUL OLDIES...Being a OLD MAN Myself :Laughing_on_floor:
Think I will get a few BEAUTIFUL OLDIES if the condition and price is right. Any idea where to hunt for these BEAUTIES..

Hi Jimmy,
I bought those oldies 19 years ago in Australia.
I am not familiar with the local traders. Regards. H. Chang

The doctor's watch was 1937 , not 1934. ( I sold the 1934 Prince many years ago. ) My apology.

Just a question the H Chang. Where do you go to when they need to be serviced? Do you get them sent over to Oz?

Stunning collection .. and the slogan  "you never actually own Rolex 6092, you merely look after it for the next generation.." should go to this nice piece too ..  =)

I like Patek as well! PP watches are of much better quality, no doubt at all.

Nice collections. Thank you for sharing.
My dad offered me my grand dad's old Rolex once (Tht was 10 yrs ago)
I didn't want it bcoz it needed winding regularly to keep it running.
How foolish of me ... :o
Regreting it until now.  :Blue:
