Don't know what is AF is doing tinkering the line-up during the Premier League matches.
He should have done that in the friendly. Looking at the way it goes, ManC will be favourite at this point of time. But I am sure the red half of Manchester will be following closely.
My pick for the top 4 (till the halfway mark of the season) - Man C, Man, United, Arsenal and Chelsea. A close catch up will be Spurs and "Northern Rock".

I think the biggest threat would still be Man City. Mancini kept mentioning Man U were the favorites to win last season. He probably forgot about his world class forwards, Aguero Tevez Balotelli Dzeko.

As of this morning (Sunday, Aug 26), Liverpool sits at the bottom of the table.

Sorry to any fans, no intention to put down.
Last season, it was the Gunners who were bottom at the start.
Just wondering if this is the beginning of a new trend - having a "big name" at the bottom at the start of every season.

Happy for RVP & Kagawa + Hazzard for getting goals on their home debuts.

And even Torres scored!

MU was lucky to scrape through against a physical side like Fulham.
Reds should have won against Man C, but Man C was resilient with Tevez on song.
Chelsea played some good football with Hazard and Torres clicking well.
