Anatomy of smile
« on: April 22, 2012, 12:44:23 AM »
Hi again

I will show you my latest treasure
nothing special - just my favorite K-43 movement from 5 Factory. Factory 53 was a temporary watch factory ( branch) of the 2nd Moscow watch factory behind the Urals.

Wow! You can become a qualified watchmaker by putting bits and pieces together to make a 15 jewel watch.  ;D

I am impressed. Just wondering how long it takes you to open a watch n put it back.

Naise  Is it hard to putting apart and placing back again? Care to describe the quality of the movement in comparison to other brand movement?

This watch is easy to repair. The parts are large. There are not many.

how long it takes you to open a watch n put it back.

Only open and put in back - 10/20 minutes. I have 11 such watches K-43. I know them to memory.
Cleaning, lubrication, replacement springs, moonlighting part - a few hours

before repair
