The definition of affordable?
What's the price range at?
Looking at the current property prices, fresh graduates and 1st time housebuyers kena gigit the most.
If there's a plan to get ppl like that to own homes... deserves credit.

The eligibility criteria for Projek Perumahan Rakyat 1Malaysia is as follows :

Malaysian citizens with monthly income less than RM6,000
    First time home buyer
Open for all Malaysians who work with the government, private sector or self-employed

WOW rm6k !
Lot of ppl now work many many yrs also cant reach 6k a month.

6k? If that is the target, then the bullseye will be a substantial lot as I believe a big chunk of the Malaysian population is earning less than 6k a month... me included...
How will the lots be allocated? Lucky draw?
Seems like this will leave alot of room for "under table grease the wheel" payments... no? :Blue:

Seems like almost all mwf connaisseur are automatically disqualified from this Pr1ma project leh, fairly unfair! :'( We should petition for a revise of the inclusion criteria

thought u will eyeing the shops around it.... with the huge dense development... the shop around will b very potential....
if u got bullet.... pls survey those shop around tmn tenaga near ikan emas
when sp setia go in and redevelop the ikan emas cheras.... (stated as bdr tun razak in Pr1ma website)
i believe the old shop price will hv good demand
or even those shop near sri permaisuri, tmn pertama.... will be benefited

so dun jump into the project alone... look at wider area.... and the spin of economy.....

I read from the Sun newspaper :
"Malaysian citizens with monthly income less than RM 3,000"

not RM6K as mentioned in a member's post earlier.
Not sure which is right. But if RM3K, IMO, it is credible for the government to ensure more Malaysian can own a home.

1st project Putrajaya 1000sqft for RM120,000 this is dirt cheap.
however, how many can get really hard to say.

easily after 10 years will be worth RM300K if country doesn't have a meltdown.
who will be the lucky 560 for this limited edition ?

different place different size different price so different eligibly requirement on income
bcoz the ur income determine your borrowing limit mah...
and 1 malaysia 1st home project allow u to borrow for 105%

if u 1 2 make $ then do ur home work and read the official website first...
surf around internet 2nd
then visit those up n coming project area 3rd
after u gather all information then u think!!!

3k is for buying property less than 220k eligible get full loan, the 6k one is for this pr1ma project, is 2 different scheme if not mistaken.

With the overnight global crush in share market, maybe worthwhile cautiously consider investing in some non politically linked blue chips?! ;)

bro... think positively... u shd now very happy... property price wont go up soon!
and u can wait for grabbing those who burn hand in share and force to sell their property...

i dun hv $$$ to wait for property so i wait for watches.... :Laughing_on_floor:
